So the favourite best-selling colors of 2016 was Rose Quartz and Serenity.

The Best Color To Use With Your Projects This 2017Joined together, these colors evokes an integral balance between a warmer embracing rose tone and the cooler tranquil blue, reflecting connection and wellness as well as a soothing sense of order and peace.

Sure these colors made a lot of standout appearances on Hollywood’s red carpet, interior designs handmade products, etc. But we are now in 2017. So what’s going to be popular?

The color you would want on your next projects is the yellow-green hue (specifically, Pantone 15-0343) called “Greenery”.

I was totally shocked when I saw this color is Pantone’s color of 2017 as it is the main accent of Craft Maker Pro. I must have known something lol

According to Pantone’s press release last December 8, this hue is a “fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew,” The color symbolizes nature’s foliage and lushness, giving life to the spaces it inhabits.

Laurie Pressman, the Pantone Color Institute’s vice president, told FORBES that, “There’s a growing desire to reconnect with Nature and what is real, and find ways to disconnect from technology. We need a break. We need to stop and breathe. (Greenery) is about unity and community – connecting to oneself and others and a higher purpose, Nature.”

So why Pantone is relevant to handmade artists? Every year since 2000, the company has chosen a color that reflects the current cultural climate. In the following year, the color has historically influenced trends in all facets of design – architecture, interior décor, fashion, food, travel – and into the arts & crafts world.

Try adding this color to your next projects to give your customers a fresh option they can enjoy. Renae Christine of Rich Mom Business suggest this too.
